Cindy R. Kealaonapua Macfarlane-Flores
Cindy has excellent teaching credentials & experience. With 16 years of teaching experience, Cindy’s love for the outdoors combined with her environmental awareness, love of teaching, and being a mom herself was the inspiration to creating this educational exploration program. She has proven success in implementing new educational, environmental, & technological activities. This strong, practical foundation of knowledge and experience makes her a fantastic, innovative, and inspirational teacher.

Epiphany School/Mid-Pacific Institute – 3rd/4th grade multiage teacher, created & lead “Mauka to Makai”, an outdoor education class for grades 3-5, began a recycling program.
Punahou School – outdoor education facilitator, technology coordinator, & summer school teacher.
Molokai Ranch/Kama’aina Kids – outdoor education & ropes course supervisor.
Camp Timberline – designed and implemented new curriculum.
Bishop Museum – assisted in developing elementary ed. curriculum.
Hokule’a Voyaging Canoe – “Science Educator” on-board 2 Hokule’a voyages.
Mommy – stay-at-home mom to two little cuties.
