Anne Stone

I remember getting my first “point and shoot” film camera when I was 13 years old. It was a Christmas present that I got after bugging my parents for what seemed like months, and from there a love affair began. I had been away from photography for several years when my love affair was rekindled with yet another Christmas gift. This time the camera was a gift from my husband and was given to me my first Christmas as a new mom.

I have always loved taking portraits, both formal and candid images, but there is something truly wonderful about taking photographs of babies and children – the sheer joy of the moment as they experience it. The joy of discovery and the joy of life are the things I look forward to capturing working here with Cindy and Field Trip Friends. I look forward to meeting you all and sharing those joys with you and your children. Anne Stone is ” Da Momma” to Kawika age 4 and wife to Tom “Pohaku” Stone. Aa an Island Girl born and raised, she finds herself back in her Kahalu’u roots as a stay-at-home mom.

Vickey Paul

Aloha! I’m Vickey, mother of 3 wonderful boys and wife to the most patient husband. I truly believe that a family that plays together, stays together. I have always loved the way my children played and interacted with the world. The sheer delight on their faces of discovering how things work, especially when the “light goes on” (parents you know what I’m talking about!) just filled my heart with joy, it still does. When they were little we would go on as many “adventures” as possible. Imagination played a big part of our lives and always will. My youngest is the historian for his band (ie: lots of pictures), my middle owns his own digital camera and has been published in skateboarding websites, and my oldest started a film club at his school.

I have been into photography since high school and have made the dive from 35mm film (kicking and screaming) into digital. I love capturing everyday impromptus as well as special moments. I look back at all the pictures of my family and it always brings such warm fuzzy feelings to me and my husband. I hope to bring joy to your family through photographs that capture your special “moment in time” for you to have forever.
